A Sissy’s Guide to Shaving
Being hairless is a key part of sissification and a rite of passage for every new sissy. Shaving is an easy way to start feeling feminine and to see your body in a new light (most men probably haven’t seen what their bare legs look like since they were a kid). Before we get started, these are some things you’ll need:
- Exfoliating scrub or loofah
- Hair trimmer
- Razor of your choice
- Shaving cream or conditioner
- Lotion
Prepare for Sissy Shaving by Exfoliating the Skin
Some men may exfoliate before shaving their faces, but for many would-be sissies, this is a new concept. Commonly done with an exfoliating scrub or loofah, exfoliating before sissy shaving helps prep the skin for the razor. Exfoliating will help remove dirt, oils, and dead skin to help leave the skin smoother and lift flattened hair follicles, making it easier for a razor to catch them.
First, you’ll want to get in the shower, warm up your skin, and clean yourself with soap or body wash (avoid anything that leaves the skin too dry which can add to irritation). Next, gently exfoliate. Don’t scrub your skin like it’s sandpaper; remember, you’re a sissy girl now.
You may see some advice that says to exfoliate after shaving to help prevent ingrown hairs and those annoying little red irritation bumps. However, exfoliating after shaving can irritate your skin itself since the skin is pretty “raw” and sensitive now. Exfoliating before shaving will prevent irritation and help to minimize any of those bumps.
Trimming
If this is your first time sissy shaving, or your first time in a long while, you’ve likely got a lot of hair on your body. Unless you don’t have a lot of hair naturally, going in with a razor first is a bad idea. It will take forever and your blade will quickly get dulled.
Most men’s electric razors come with a trimmer attachment, but if you don’t have a hair trimmer go ahead and buy a cheap one. This Phillips Norelco trimmer costs around $20 and will pay for itself after a few usages by saving you on expensive razor blades.
Don’t worry about getting a super close shave, the goal is to just get a lot of your hair off quickly without irritating the skin. If you’re not doing this in the shower, help yourself out by either putting down a towel or having a vacuum cleaner handy: there will be a lot of hair…everywhere!
Razors and Shaving Cream
Since everyone has different types of skin and hair, there will be some trial and error in finding the right razor for you. I currently use this Harry’s Razor and it does the job, but I generally haven’t noticed a big difference in razors other than the cheap disposable kind. I would recommend for the first time either applying conditioner or shaving cream/gel to anywhere you’re shaving to help prevent irritation or cutting yourself.
Time for a Sissy Shave!
After exfoliating, trimming, and putting on shaving cream, it’s time to get to work. Here are a few sissy shaving tips rather than a step-by-step guide:
- Roadmap: I generally like to start with my armpits and work my way down so I don’t forget anything.
- Take your time and don’t put too much pressure while shaving or else you’ll cut yourself.
- Try to stretch and “flatten” the skin with one hand while you shave with the other. Particularly around areas like the knees where the skin is thin and looser.
- Shaving Direction: Shave downwards in the direction of the hair grain to start. While “shaving up” will get a closer shave, it’s also what leads to ingrown hairs and bumps. Generally, I will not have a problem shaving up on my legs, but other parts of my skin, less so.
- Pubic Hair: Pubic hair, particularly around the edges, tends to be the most sensitive for me, so take your time. For me, the balls are very easy and forgiving. Just pull the skin taught and go for it. I’ve never cut myself there.
- Hair Around the Hole: This is the trickiest place to shave. If I’m not too picky, I will generally just try to pull the skin taught and carefully shave both sides around the hole, but it’s very easy to miss. If I need to be totally hairless, then I will lean my back against the tub and lift my legs towards my chest to expose and push out my “sissy pussy.”
- Lotion: once you’re done and have rinsed your legs, be sure to lotion them. Keep lotioning them regularly to cut down on dry skin. Besides feeling sexy, smoother legs are easier to shave.
- After Your First Time: no matter what you do, your skin may be irritated because it’s not used to being shaved in those places. Give it a few days to a week and try again. Hopefully, you’ll see a reduction in bumps and redness, but if you don’t you may want to try a different razor.
- Frequency: Try to give it at least a few days in between shaving to let the skin recover. You also want any irritation to disappear first or you’ll just make it worse.
Other Methods of Sissy Hair Removal
Shaving is time-consuming and the costs add up over time, as well as being fairly wasteful. Here are a few other methods of sissy hair removal to try:
- Nair: Nair is a type of hair removal cream that once applied “burns” off hair follicles in a few minutes. A bottle costs less than $10, so it can be more cost-effective than razors. Be very careful with Nair. It can react to parts of your skin differently or if left on too long. I’ve gotten a chemical burn from it before that took weeks to heal.
- IPL Device: A less intense, safe-for-home version of laser hair removal. After shaving, you pulsate a bright light against your skin. It is very time-intensive and initially expensive, but if used correctly will dramatically slow or remove hair growth. However, you have to continually use it or hair will grow back eventually. I bought a Ulike when it was on sale + with some Amazon gift cards and love it. There’s no pain at all and my legs in particular are nearly hairless after a few weeks of use.
- Waxing: Waxing lasts considerably longer than shaving since the entire hair follicle is stripped away rather than just cut down at the skin level. The downside is that it can be fairly pricey and may need to be more comfortable for a lot of men. But for some sissies, that may just be what they need!
